Tony has spent over 20 years in the Life Sciences sector. After completing his degree and PhD at Heriot Watt University, in Edinburgh, he joined British Sugar, before joining the Advanced Centre for Biochemical Engineering at University College London, which is at the forefront of bioprocessing research and education.
In 2004 joined the BioIndustry Association, as a member of the leadership team, working with the country’s leading biotech entrepreneurs. For four years between 2000 and 2004 he had the privilege to meet the best biotechnology talent the UK working as an executive search consultant, initially with Ruston Poole International. Following this, Tony became involved in the UK Knowledge Transfer Networks for 10 years, latterly leading on Talent Management.
Tony has a track record of identifying the best talent and understanding how it can be best deployed and has now partnered with Horton International to offer recruitment as required by clients. He is a Qualified coach, Henley Business School 2012 (A+), specialising in career choices, building trusted relationships, mentoring and creating a thinking environment.
